    Connecting dots. Building bridges.

I’m an emerging investor with a grounded lens, working at the intersection of finance, policy, technology, and culture; focused on identifying patterns early and helping ideas hold up in real conditions, particularly across African markets.

I value judgment, execution, and long-term trust over speed or noise.

  • Now

Now, I lead go-to-market and revenue strategy for an insurtech company, launching new products such as embedding insurance into existing fintech and telco platforms so protection fits into everyday financial behavior. In parallel, I’m building the Nouakchott Innovation Lab, supporting early, locally grounded ideas and founders before they become institutionally “obvious.”

Alongside this, I’m a Fellow with Included VC (Africa, Class ’25), deepening my transition into venture investing by combining operational experience, ethical judgment, and local insight.

  • The Edge

    Operator in fintech and insurtech

Strategist in public affairs and ethics

Founder in media and ecosystem initiatives

Creative grounded in care, narrative, and culture

This combination allows me to bridge vision and execution, capital and context, logic and empathy without losing sight of people on the ground.

This is why venture investing is a natural next step for me: it sits at the leverage point between ideas, execution, and long-term trust.

  • Connecting Ideas and Actions

    Scale & Execution

Successfully introduced and expanded financial services in various African markets. Analyzed market needs, coordinated with key players, and facilitated the launch of innovative products.

    0→1 Building

Established revenue streams and formed strategic alliances from the ground up in challenging landscapes

    Trust & Systems

Led ethics, stakeholder engagement, and crisis-sensitive work in regulated and institutional environments.

  • When making decisions, I weigh three things:

Trust : how this will age?

Execution : who actually has to carry it?

Second-order effects : what breaks later

If one fails, I slow down

  • Writing & Thinking

I write to test ideas and stay close to reality.

Long-form analysis, editorials, humor, and field notes on:
fintech in Mauritania · tech systems & culture · long-term vision · care as infrastructure

  • I’m open to thoughtful conversations around venture platforms, early-stage investing, and roles where operational judgment, context, and execution matter as much as analysis.

    Africa is not the future.

    It is the present.
